Nothin’ Good Nothin’ Good

Around here at Nothin’ Good, we love us some multi-player game experiences.  And one of our all-time favorites is the 2008 XBox 360 classic Left 4 Dead.  A first person zombie horror game for the ages, this game had it all.  This week we reflect on our time playing the game, Mac’s uncanny ability to startle the witch, and we get distracted and talk about star wars and x-men for half the show.  Why? Because it’s our show and we do what we want.  It’s Left 4 Dead... this week on Nothin’ Good!

Every once in a while a film comes along that transcends generations and puts the film industry on notice... this is not one of those movies.  This week the guys break down the cult classic that is The Last Dragon. In New York City, Leroy - our titular hero, searches for a kung fu master to obtain the highest levels of mastery known as the Glow.  Many shenanigans ensue.  Join us, if you dare.  Sho’Nuff!!!

Oh, hi.  Didn’t see you there.  Have you been there long?  Sorry to keep you waiting.  It’s springtime so you know what that means... it’s Wrestlemania season!  This week the guys revisit Wrestlemania 10, home to a couple of the best matches ever, and a whole bunch that aren’t.  Also, Mac educates us all about edging... like a lot.  So why don’t you pull up a seat and come finish with us?  This week on Nothin’ Good!

Mamma mia, it’s a Mario!  This week the gents go back to the emergence of 64 bit gaming and talk about the groundbreaking game that is Super Mario 64.  Hailed as one of the greatest games of its time, it holds a special place in our hearts.  Except for Dave... he did not like it.  We’re starting to see a trend here... Lets a go!

Once in a great while a show comes along that is so epic, it needs to be shared with the masses.  Here at Nothin’ Good, we feel that way about us... but also X-Men the Animated Series.  Highly regarded as one of the most iconic and best cartoons to come out of the early 90’s and possibly ever.  On the eve of the release of X-Men ’97, this week we get all nostalgic on your asses as we share our favorite episodes, stories and memories if this nerdy classic.  So give it a listen bub! Snikt!

This week we pay tribute to the late great Carl Weathers with an 80’s cult classic, Action Jackson.  This movie has everything you’d expect from an 80’s flick: over the top action, Coach doing karate, cocaine, 80’s boobs, Biff from Back to the Future, flamethrowers, Apollo Creed with no shirt, balls in a jar, racial stereotypes, more cocaine, excitement, enthusiasm and more ACTION.  Also we geek out about X-men, because it’s our show and we do what we want. So take this wild crazy ride with us, this week on Nothin’ Good!
