Kyle is unsure what sport he wants to play in middle school. His friends highly encourage him to join Cross Country. At first, Kyle is nervous and doesn't think he will be able to do it, but when hard work is mixed is mixed with determination the results will show. Here is a small excerpt from my story “As the runners trickled in and met up at the rock, everyone reported how far they ran. “One mile,” replied Josh. “Two miles,” answered Zack. “Three. Three miles,” an anonymous 8th grader proudly announced. Then the moment came. Kyle felt like a spot light was shining on him. ((Continued in GC))
