Novara Media is an independent media organisation addressing the issues – from a crisis of capitalism to racism and climate change – that are set to define the 21st century. Within that context our goal is a simple one: to tell stories and provide analysis shaped by the political uncertainties of the age, elevating critical perspectives you’re unlikely to find elsewhere. Driven to build a new media for a different politics, our journalism is always politically committed; rather than seeking to moderate between two sides of a debate, our output actively intends to feed back into political action.

Worthwhile and smart
Worthwhile for US listeners. Ash Sarkar is amazing.
So worth a proper listen!
I don’t have the time to listen to many podcasts regularly, but I cherry-pick and there have been a few from this cast that I listened to and thoroughly enjoyed. These are learned discussions with intelligent questions asked, and the one on automation and the future of work is something I was deeply interested in academically and found so enriching to listen to. The questions and answers depart from the usual book promotions or pat answers to think more seriously about the politics and social implications.
I’ll be returning to this network to find more, taking socialist thinking seriously.
Socialism in the UK
This podcast covers socialistic ideas, UK politics, and the Labor Party. As an American, I benefit from listening to ideas like abundance, government run railroads, and how socialists can control a mainstream party.
