    A Caution Against Bigotry

    In this final message of the Wesley devotional series, the sermon explores John Wesley’s “A Caution Against Bigotry,”arguing that the greatest danger is not merely prejudice but believing that God only works through our denomination, tradition, or theological camp. Using Mark 9:38–41, where Jesus rebukes the disciples for trying to stop someone casting out demons in His name because “he was not following us,” the sermon contrasts tribalism with Christ’s kingdom, which is recognized by its fruit rather than denominational labels. The message carefully distinguishes Christian unity from theological compromise.
