Recently I told my 2.5 year old that we should try the podcast "Sleepy" before bed. I told her it was a guy reading stories in a calming voice.
When it started, she said adamantly with paci in mouth: "No not this one! I need the NURSE one!" (I have no idea where this came from. Her only reference is Nurse Susie from Peppa Pig, and she hadn't watched it that day at all.)
I was game. I looked up "Nurse" and picked your podcast. She was immediately satisfied. She started "talking" to you both, occasionally chattering nonsensically but thoughtfully for several minutes.
Then, she handed me my phone and insisted I talk to you both as well. If I was quiet too long, she told me "Mommy mommy you have to talk!"
Her dad is a doctor, but even so: This was a funny and random way to end up as a listener. My daughter has "chatted" with you a few different nights nkw. Regardless of how long this routine lasts, I have started listening for fun on my time. Hehe.
I immensely enjoyed the Halloween episode, by the way. So many shared feelings, thoughts, and topics for me. Such a good banter, sounds like my friends and I. Maybe I should become a nurse...? Probably not. An epic job.
