    Today, on Karl and Crew, we had several guests join us, starting with Dr. David Nelms, who discussed how to make disciples. Dr. Nelms serves as Founder of The Timothy Initiative. He is a former senior pastor and had success growing three different churches in Maryland, Iowa, and Florida. He also received his Master of Arts from the Moody Bible Institute and his Master of Divinity from Luther Rice University, as well as his Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice University. Then we had R. York Moore join us to talk about evangelizing to the next generation. R. York is a speaker, revivalist, and abolitionist. R. York is also the President, CEO, and National Evangelist for the interdenominational college ministry, Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO). He has also authored several books, including “Do Something Beautiful: The Story of Everything and a Guide to Finding Your Place in It.” Then we had Arlene Pellicane join us to talk about setting your kids up for success. Arlene is a speaker, author, and host of the Happy Home podcast. She is also a marriage and parenting expert.     Today, on Karl and Crew, we heard updates from Israel and talked about the benefits of budgeting. We had Omer Eshel join us to provide a live update on the peace deal between Israel and Hamas. Omer is the CEO and Co-founder of The Bible Comes to Life Travel and Educational Center, with its Israel headquarters. He has also served as the Director of the Israel Tourism Consulate and the Midwest Regional Director of the Israel Ministry of Tourism. We then had Rob West join us to talk about the importance of budgeting. Rob is the host of the nationally syndicated radio program Faith and Finance LIVE, which airs weekdays at 3 pm on 90.1 FM.     Finding Your Identity in Christ with Greg Dempster & Overcoming Worry with Dr. Winfred Neely

    Today, on Karl and Crew, we discussed the importance of knowing our identities in Christ. We turned to 1 Peter 2:9, where it reminds us that we are a chosen people called to show others the goodness of God. We then heard from Listeners as we asked them two questions: “What lie did you believe about yourself before you discovered who you are in Jesus?” and “What was something you used to worry about that God delivered you from?” Then we had Greg Dempster join us to discuss identifying and uprooting lies and spiritually unhealthy expectations, to find our true identity in Christ. Greg is the Founder and Director of ChristLife Ministries, equipping Christian leaders to bring God’s healing and life to others confidently. He is also a senior leader, elder, and ministry director. We were also joined by Dr. Winfred Neely, who shared his experience of how God gave him peace when he trusted in His sovereignty. Dr. Neely is the newly retired Vice President and Academic Dean of Moody Theological Seminary. He will remain as an Adjunct Professor of Biblical Interpretation, Old Testament, and Biblical Preaching at Moody Bible Institute.     October 7: Honoring, Remembering, and Responding with Dr. Jim Coakley, Dr. Michael Rydelnik and Justin Kron

    Today, on Karl and Crew, we reflected and honored the anniversary of the October 7th Massacre in Israel by Hamas. We then had Dr. Jim Coakley join us to share about an upcoming trip to Turkey and Greece. Dr. Coakley will lead a tour that will journey through the New Testament from March 4th to 17th, 2026. Early Bird prices are available now if booked by November 1, 2025. Dr. Coakley is a Professor of Bible at the Moody Bible Institute (MBI). He is also an elder with 180 Chicago and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. Then we had Dr. Michael Rydelnik join us to talk about the rise of anti-semitism following the October 7th attack in 2023. Dr. Rydelnik is a Professor Emeritus of Jewish and Biblical Studies and an adjunct professor in the undergraduate program at MBI. He is also the host and Bible teacher of “Open Line,” which airs every Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. CT on Moody Broadcasting and over 225 other stations. We then had Justin Kron join us to share his testimony and explain his motivation for creating a film about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Justin is the founding director of the Kesher Project, a nonprofit organization focused on connecting Christians to the Jewish roots of their faith with the Jewish community. He is also an adjunct professor for the Jewish Studies Department at MBI. He also partnered with Philos Project and produced an award-winning documentary, HOPE IN THE HOLY LAND: Delving Beneath the Surface of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, which will now become a docuseries called HOPE IN THE HOLY LAND: The Series.     How the Gospel Reaches the Battlefield with Rear Adm. Carey Cash and Gospel-Centered Testimonies

    Today, on Karl and Crew, we discussed the impact of the gospel on our lives and how it literally changes everything. Rear Admiral Carey Cash joined us to discuss how the gospel impacts the men in the armed forces. Rear Adm. Carey Cash has served as a chaplain to the Marines and is currently a deputy director of Chaplains Religious Enrichment Development Operation, command chaplain to Naval Support Facility Thurmont, Camp David, Maryland; deputy command chaplain at the U.S. Naval Academy, and, most recently, commanding officer, Naval Chaplaincy School in Newport, Rhode Island. He also authored the book, “Practicing Life Together: A Common Rule for Christian Growth.” We then had Ron Hutchcraft join us to talk about the power and abundance that come from prayer. Ron is the chairman of Ron Hutchcraft Ministries. He is also an international speaker, evangelist, author, and radio host. He is also the co-founder of On Eagles Wings, an outreach by Native Americans to Native Americans.
