i have loved and listened to this podcast from the beginning! i absolutely loved the episode titled Bodies. love that these strong women lead by example and are raising amazing human beings for this world. such a great podcast!
So much potential; they just need experience
Disclaimer: I’m a late-50s male who enjoys listening to podcasts over music while driving and I’m a late-to-the-party Predneck (2017).
I discovered this podcast about 10 or 12 episodes on and promptly went to the beginning and listened to all of them. The girls do a credible job and are entertaining.
My criticism is that the become giggling school girls a bit to much, but I think that is improving. My praise is that they do a good job of going “behind the curtain” and sharing what its is like to be a “hockey wife” or “hockey girlfriend” - all the glamor as well as all the pitfalls.
Where this podcast has the most impact however, is when they use it as a platform and vehicle for awareness and information. Within the NHL, the Predators organization, and their circle of friends are lots of people with stories to tell and this is a great forum. Ida and Julie are good interviewers who have a great knack for letting their guests share without getting in the way by playing “twenty questions” or inserting their own opinions. I hope they will continue to use this podcast to bring us stories that need to be heard.
Austin’s Watson girlfriend Jennifer is great!
I really enjoyed listening to Jennifer’s story and love the meaning behind her new project. She is a great speaker with a meaningful message!
