    Crying outside of an H&RBlock

    Last week I ugly cried on my instagram stories outside of an H&RBlock. As I was driving home I tried to delete the posts out of embarrassment, but had no service. I am now thankful I could not delete right away, because I did not realize the response I would get and the need for this vulnerability. The honest truth around how hard it can be to run a small business. The amount of people who could relate and understood was overwhelming. A common misconception I’ve seen is - people tend to equate the number of followers I have with success, but it does not work that way. The tax system is tricky and complicated and they don’t make it easy for anyone. If you have been following along for a while, you know the struggle I’ve been facing with taxes. I learned a lot of things the hard way and I hope this episode clears some of those road blocks for the people who need to hear. On this episode I had my accountant Jenn join me to discuss how I ended up in so such debt, share solid suggestions and tips when it comes to taxes and starting a small business.
