On the heels of her healing process, Renee describes feeling recovered, but not yet rejuvenated. With the help of a therapist, she was able to reframe the self beliefs she carried as a result of other peoples’ abuses of her. With practice, gratitude and self-talk, Renee was able to reclaim her agency and remap her life in ways that helped her to face a pivotal, triggering moment that could have undone everything.
