Communication sometimes is lacking, which can ultimately help with the actions of being let down.  After that continuously happens, it becomes difficult to have high expectations for someone who is looking to care about you.  "Be a man of your word!"

Friendships take work in nourishing, just like any other relationship and although it can be hard at times to recognize where you stand within a friendship based on history it is always important to reflect on what’s happening when there’s positive growth or drifting apart. All in all, friendships allow the possibility to improve yourself whether you decide to resolve or dissolve a friendship, but always remember to do what serves you!
