Finally, if you’re running a little behind on showing love to the Black men in your life, we have some recommendations that'll help you help them glow from the inside out.

Okay, Let's Talk Romance (with Issa Rae)

On this episode, we're feeling extra lovey dovey so we decided to check in about how quarantine is a very different experience for those of us who are boo'd up and those of us who are not. We also chat about some of our favorite romance films.

Then, Issa Rae comes by to talk about her newest Netflix film, Lovebirds. And, of course, we get some tea about her thoughts on the response to this season of Insecure.

Love this podcast so much!

As a black 23-year-old who lives and works around only white people thank you for giving me a break from it all. And thank you for highlighting black women in film so I have a group of people to look up to finally. Thank you.

Representation Matters!!

As a black woman, I grew up in a place where I never saw myself in any large roles. Because I didn’t see any representation whatsoever of black women. I have been listening to this podcast since the first episode and it’s only gotten better each time. This world has so much negativity on black culture but these women really highlight the positives. They’re unapologetic, beautiful, and not afraid to be loud!!! I love them and they make me laugh so much it’s such a great listen. I encourage all my black friends to listen to this podcast because we all need too see black women in these roles and creating projects that will inspire us to do the same. They’re not afraid to use their voice and are bold enough to be themselves. Thank you for this podcast and I appreciate all your hard work.
