Oki Dokimos

Oki Dokimos is a great example of the Universal Church of Christ around the world spreading light and being salt. This podcast is tasty and "the future is so bright, I have to wear shades." I was looking to find some different commentaries on Luke 17: 22-37. I was incredibly blessed by the way Paul and Samuel went about explaining this passage and it helped me to see that the status quo that we hear so often, may not fit the actual Gospel. Episode 94 is what I was listening to get that concept. Looking forward to sharing this low key, no strings attached podcast to my fellow believers. Thanks to Rick for sharing it with me.

The presenters have a good solid base and build on it each week. Definitely worth listening too,

Paul and Samuel do an excellent job of reading the Scriptures and trying to understand what the text is actually trying to say. However, they do it with the listener, not at them. I find their content to be solid—some producers will spout ideas without carefully measuring them against Scripture, but in my opinion you will not find this on Oki Dokimos. And the occasional groan-worthy dad joke, obscure movie quote, and quirky sound effect keep things entertaining. 10/10 recommend

This podcast does a great job at reviewing the the narrative of God and seeking to uncover insight and application through the use of studying the Bible in it’s context. They also provide great resources and notes for future study. Would highly recommend!
