On this podcast we have meaningful conversations with guests who live in Jamaica one way or another. Podcast guests have the opportunity to tell their story on how they either moved to Jamaica fully or how they're able to spend extended periods of time here. Everyone on the podcast are in different phases of their Jamaica move story. Some have already retired here others are beginning to make their transition with frequent visits to the island. My hope is that listeners gain value in seeing how they too might be able to make the transition to Jamaica one day.

She Chose Jamaica: Why it might be a good place for you too!

Misti Memphis has been living in Jamaica for the past 13 years. She is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. From the first time she ever visited Jamaica, she knew she would eventually call this place her home. This is Misti's second time on the podcast. She was kind enough to not only share her story of how she came to call Jamaica her home but also updated us on the newest things happening in her life as a Negril social media community leader. Misti also recently received her Jamaican citizenship, which she is really proud of. In this podcast, she also gives great insight into her Negril lifestyle, the process of attaining permanent residency, as well as her view and experiences on crime in Jamaica compared to that of the US. Please enjoy this conversation between Misti and myself.

    A Canadian’s Story to Jamaica

    A Canadian’s Story to Jamaica

Moving to Jamaica to farm and live off the land sounds like a dream to many. For Canadian native Israel, this is becoming more and more of a reality. In this sit-down, I learned so much about Canadian history and African-Canadians' history. I learned why Israel sees Jamaica as the land of liberation and freedom. I learned so much from this one, and I think you might too.

An investment opportunity like no other

An investment opportunity like no other

Devine Destiny, in Negril, Jamaica, was one of the premiere hotels in the '90s and early '00s. Due to a series of unfortunate events, the property ultimately failed. Now, the owners are on a mission to sell. I had the opportunity to walk the property with James Horvath, one of the owners. I learned about the history of this property and what it was like in its heyday. But perhaps most importantly, we discussed what this property could potentially turn into. It's a large 10.5 acre property with a lot of potential. I also had a conversation with Mragit Eder of Valerie Levy & Associates, who is the realtor representing this property. We also ideated ideas on what this property could turn into. We, of course, talked about the selling price as well. I hope you enjoy this real estate fixer-upper video.
