Making Your Dreams Reality with Donna Bond

Making Your Dreams Reality with Donna Bond

Donna Bond hadn’t felt inspired in a while. As the former director of marketing at the Ritz Carlton for 28 years, she’d sunk so much time into her corporate career, but it no longer gave her a feeling of purpose. Donna’s father passed away when he was 44 years old, and when she herself turned 44, she felt a huge rush to find her life’s purpose and get out of the corporate grind.

One day, she decided to take a leap. On the advice of a psychic, Donna threw caution to the wind and decided to leave her career and apply for a master of arts in spiritual psychology. In light of her new understanding, Donna relocated to Costa Rica to chase that famous pura vida. She now serves as a soul-centered catalyst for personal transformation as an author, speaker, thought leader, professional life and business coach, and transformation consultant. Follow along to hear Donna’s incisive insights on finding purpose in a world of distractions.

From Musical Motions to Organic Lotions with Angela Jia Kim

From Musical Motions to Organic Lotions with Angela Jia Kim

The lights of the concert hall dim. The audience grows silent in anticipation. Angela Jia-Kim, a talented concert pianist, sits in front of her piano and begins tickling the ivories like usual until hives start to appear all over her body. For a piano virtuoso, your hands are your life, so she began her investigation into what caused the outbreak -  her skincare. Armed with new information and a reignited passion, Angela began making organic Korean-inspired skincare in her home.

In the following years, this “accidental entrepreneur” developed her own Korean-inspired skincare line Savor Beauty, founded the New York luxury spa chain Savor Beauty + Spa, became a mother to her tween Sienna, and authored the book Radical Radiance (12 Weeks of Self-Love Rituals). Her skincare line and luxury spas have been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, Elle, People, Allure, and Well+Good. The change from musical motions to lotions and potions was not intuitive, but she knew she finally found her passion.

Authentic Marketing After the Pandemic with Ron Tite

Authentic Marketing After the Pandemic with Ron Tite

Founder and CEO of marketing agency Church+State, Ron Tite drops by to discuss marketing in the wake of the pandemic. Author of the book “Think, Do, Say” and voted one of the Top 10 Creative Canadians by Marketing Magazine, Ron is an author, speaker, advertising writer, host, and executive producer for the podcast The Coup, which brings listeners inside the industries fighting for their futures.

Standing out in a sea of noise on social media has never been more challenging. Ron and Erin seek to answer the question: how do you break through the noise? Ron lands on several things to help businesses stand out: crystalizing their purpose, presenting authentic messaging that aligns with that purpose and their audience, and allowing for honesty and imperfection in their advertising presence to breed trust and create novelty. As Ron emphatically states, “There’s nothing more powerful in marketing than a consumer or a prospect saying ‘Ha! I’ve never seen that before.’”
