Mole misses his home, with help and encouragement from Rat, he finds his way back. As they settle into the small abode, Mole realizes he still yearns to keep exploring the outside world.

We learn about Mr. Badger and his calming kindness; How some places may feel like home to some yet elicit restlessness in others. 

Naughty Mole being so eager to meet Mr. Badger, puts himself and the faithful friend Rat through great perils by venturing into the Wild Wood.

In this chapter, we learn about Toad's exasperating character and behaviours. Mole and Rat are in for quite an adventure!

Mole is tired of old chores and decides to venture up and out to the world where spring is in full swing. There he meets Rat, who becomes his welcoming new friend.

In this concluding chapter, we get a glimpse of the generosity that embodies our little princess, and how blissfully happy she can make anyone lucky enough to get to know her beautiful soul.
