    Can You Find Joy in Mothering?

    I was asked to do a presentation for a women's conference and I decided to make a video. Four of my daughters, Stephanie and Caroline, and daughters-in-law Michelle and Anna helped me out. I asked them four questions. After cutting their answers down to a 5-minute video, I thought, this needs to be a podcast. Come be a fly on the wall, listen to what they say and I think you will find yourself nodding your head, and laughing. Hopefully, you will come away knowing a little more about the importance of being kind to yourself, and embracing the good, including the unique and one-of-a-kind talents that help us be the best mom our kids ever had.     When our children are born we are given a schedule or outline of how to take care of their physical needs. Well-child appointments suggested vaccines to provide, and how many days to watch a fever before calling the doctor. But how do we manage and help our children with their mental health? I discuss this subject with my son, Michael Anderson, a Marriage and Family Counselor.
