    Money = LOTS of Feelings

    Money = LOTS of Feelings

    Money! We're told to talk about it, but we're also told it's impolite to bring it up. So where does that leave us? This week, Ingrid talks to Chelsea Fagan, founder of The Financial Diet about her journey from "absolutely terrible with money" to "pretty good with money." Get ready for: how and when to talk about money with someone you're dating, the weird gender roles we assign to money, the exploitative dynamics in influencer marketing and what to look out for, a tangent on queerness and money, and how your financial story plays a vital role in your overall story.

Loyal Follower For A Reason

I’ve also been following Ingrid since the ‘filming Nars product reviews in the bathroom / blue bedroom days’, and I’ve grown alongside her during this past decade through following her content. However, I had never connected to her this much, to this level. These podcasts episodes have been genuine, meaningful, and one of the very few things on the internet that doesn’t have a hidden motive ($). I feel inspired to be my true self every time I listen to an episode, or motivated to do better based on the conversations of regret or finance, etc. I look forward to season 2, especially about queer / lesbian content. I also request that there be more guests closer to my age (mid 20s) as it can help me connect even further! Thank you, happy 2019!

SO. MUCH. PURPOSE.

I’ve been watching Ingrid’s YouTube channel since the missglamorazzi reviewing NARS products on the edge of her bed - LOVE the way she has evolved and love growing along with her myself. I was a big fan of Ladies Who Lunch and was craving these conversations especially on my long drives from New York when I travel back home. I was definitely not disappointed - the Reflections are not something I’ve ever listened to and I think it’s just such a unique way to share Ingrid’s perspective when I’m sure the time goes by so quickly during the interviews. Thanks for everything you do, Ingrid. Will be a supporter/subscriber/follower/fellownewyorker forever!
