    S5E60 Hamstring Injury Update

    Hamstring injury update. Not going to be racing anything over a 5k for a couple weeks till this heals. Cant risk being out or tearing it. So that means my big May race schedule is completely obsolete now. Missed Glacier Ridge last week, missing Rothrock this week, and at the end of the month Rabbid Raccoon 100k. My endurance is now also low. Not going to show up and hurt myself more or not be able compete at a level Im capable of while spending money.

    This product tastes great. Even if it gets warm the tastes is still really good. It works for me. I do feel like it helps hydrate me and keep me in the race. I have not had any crashes or GI issues when taking this. The vitamin levels are above what most products offer so it will give you exactly what you need. Its very convient for a grab and go or stash in a hydration vest for when refilling.     Hands down my favorite gel. These pack 50g carbs in one pack. Yes they are double in size as other gels in the market while also givng double the amount of carbs, so it does equal out. But the convince of only having to take one gel makes things way easier. I can take one a hour and be fine while racing, gove me the fuel I personally need. What I also really like is the consistency. Its just a tad thicker then maple syrup but not as thick as honey. The gels comes right out. Tab rips nice. Very easy to get out of a pocket since it os bigger then most others so ots easier to find.     Go Gels are very nice. They have numerous flavors. Favorite is the mango. Also have caffinated versions. BPN is a brand you can trust. The gels are easy to get down and you dont need to chase with a bunch of water. They are smoother then most in the market so they come put easy as well as go down easy. Ive had no GI issues while using.     These gels are a step up from Gu. These are a little bit smoother to get down and taste better. They are small and convient, can easily stash in a pocket on the go. These can be found at Walmart or sheetz, amd many grocery stores ect... They have about 25 carbs to give you some fuel while running.     Gu gels product review. All runners have heard of them and have used at some point. Im just not a big fan. They are cheap and can be found at grocery store to gas stations. They do give you some carbs also are easy to stash in pocket. The caffine ones may help to give you a little boost. There are several problems with them though. The gel itself is thick, so its hard tk get it all out and out quickly without biting far end wrapper and pulling it out your mouth. The bigger issues is the GI issues so mmay runners get while consuming these. Most runners will tell you that Gu gels give them the poops. I believe the gels gets burnt up in body to quickly leaving it to come out smoother then it went in. So be cautious.
