At the On Team Building podcast you and Dr. Chris Cavert (from OnTeamBuilding.com and FUNdoing.com) will meet and learn from a wide range of team building facilitators all over the world - every team builder has something to share. They will be at all points in their careers - just starting out, been at it for a while and been at it for quite a while. Listen in to valuable information as they share their favorite team building activities and team building books. We'll also find out about their favorite team building props, group processing tools and processing questions. Some will tell us impactful team building stories from their careers and some of their biggest team building challenges and how they manage them. Others will share programming ideas and nuggets of advice they have internalized to help us learn and grow.     #40: Sarah Gough – (25+) Play for Peace: The Global Peace Initiative Still Going Strong, 27 Years and Counting

    Sarah Gough has been the Executive Director of Play for Peace for over 17 years. "Play for Peace supports individuals and organizations who are passionate about children to transform conflict into meaningful and impactful learning experiences, fostering laughter, compassion, and lasting peace worldwide.” Play for Peace facilitators bring play into harsh conditions to help build bridges between groups in conflict. When connections are made, conversations can following and “conflict transformation” can happen.  Play for Peace is not only about play, it’s about community-building, community-bonding and unity. Educators learn from Sarah about “connection before perfection,” the mindset that serves the educator and taking a place in the circle where every voice is heard.  Sarah also talks with Chris about the organization and how it’s designed to support communities in conflict by training young facilitators from those communities to use play as a way to bring people together, have fun, and learn about each other as a way to better understand each other.  We hope you join us!
