Montauk Boy: Mind Control, Madness, and Monsters with Project Montauk Survivor Rocko Fowler

Montauk Boy: Mind Control, Madness, and Monsters with Project Montauk Survivor Rocko Fowler

WARNING: This episode is more serious than the one last week with the vibrating lightsaber sound effects....

Rocko Fowler grew up in Montauk, Long Island, a place riddled with mystery.

The biggest mystery: why do so many claim they were involved or knew about a military project since the 80s where children were studied to develop their psychic abilities, to project themselves into other dimensions, to submit to horrendous mind control experiments, and perhaps the weirdest of all... to TRAVEL THROUGH TIME?

This is the real-life story Stranger Things is based on!

In this episode, Rocko shares his own story. He claims that he's been a victim of this secret military project since he was a toddler. But unlike the Netflix series, his story is far, far darker than what you'd even imagine.

If you're easily disturbed, do not listen to this episode.

It's the testimony of a Project Montauk victim seeking justice.

You must be brave enough to swallow the tale.

This is a trip to the side-show.

    WARNING: FOR MATURE AUDIENCES

Vibrating lightsabers, Wile E. Coyote, and the gaudiest sound effects you've ever heard.

    Ladies and gentlemen...boys and germs.

Greg meets Vocal Cartoonist, NYC Entertainer, and Contemporary Vaudevillian... Zero Boy.

Operation Mindf*ck: Qanon and the Art of Perceptual Psychology with Robert Guffey

Operation Mindf*ck: Qanon and the Art of Perceptual Psychology with Robert Guffey

Can "conspiracy theory" be considered a work of art?

Robert Guffey, author, researcher, professor, and lecturer at California State University--Long Beach joins Greg to talk about how his early awe at underground conspiracy theory literature led him to becoming an expert in the field.

More importantly, it gave him the knowledge to deconstruct the entire Qanon phenomenon as a psychological operation like none other.

If you never understood Q before, this conversation will blow your mind.

Robert joins Greg to discuss his upcoming latest book (already praised by Alan Moore AND Mitch Horowitz), "Operation Mindf*ck: Qanon and The Cult of Donald Trump."

PS. If you're not comfortable with swear words, well, f$%#k.

Doctor Dream: The Mystical Life of Stanley Krippner with Psychologist and Parapsychologist Stanley Krippner, PhD.

Doctor Dream: The Mystical Life of Stanley Krippner with Psychologist and Parapsychologist Stanley Krippner, PhD.

Once, in every lifetime, you encounter a legend in their field.

Even rarer, you encounter a legend in multiple ones.

Even more anomalous, you encounter a podcast guest that Greg doesn't want jokes written about in the show description because of how LEGENDARY and IMPORTANT this person really is.

Dr. Stanley Krippner is that man.

Here's his bio, as written on the Institute of Noetic Sciences website: "Stanley Krippner, Ph.D., is the Alan Watts Professor of Psychology, Saybrook University, Pasadena, CA. and the former Director of the Dream Laboratory, Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. He has received lifetime achievement awards from the Parapsychological Association, the International Association for the Study of Dreams, and the Society for Humanistic Psychology. He is the past president of all three groups as well as the Society for Psychological Hypnosis which awarded him its 2002 Award for Distinguished Contributions to Professional Hypnosis. Krippner is a Fellow of the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion, the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, and five divisions of the American Psychological Association, which granted him its 2002 Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Development of Psychology. He is co-author of the award-winning book Personal Mythology, and co-editor of the award-winning book Varieties of Anomalous Experience, and has authored or co-authored over 1,000 peer-reviewed articles."

If you're curious about shamanism, hypnosis, extra-sensory perception, dreams, mythology, sexuality, altered states of consciousness, the human soul....Stanley has led research in it. He's been on the frontier of scientific investigation into the anomalous, as well as Consciousness, for decades and decades. He's carved the way for podcasts like this to even be possible.

In this episode, Greg encounters The Legend.

Take a listen. It's worth it.

Awesome

This is one of the best podcasts if you interested in seeing the “other side” of reality. You don’t necessarily have to believe it all, but the host brings in guests and let’s them speak and he always asks those burning questions that you want to know. He does it with an open mind and heart allowing the listener draw their own conclusions. I appreciate this platform, it’s so open and inviting and I love listening and always look forward to the next show! Great podcast!

I have become a looper

I have been listening to Open Loops since the launch of the podcast and look forward to each new episode as part of my daily walk routine. It adds a new dimension of a mental workout to my morning rituals. The guests are always very thought provoking and the host Greg is great at asking the right questions to get them speaking. I often follow up on the speaker topics and find that this podcast has expanded my own mind to want to learn more about what hasn’t been taught through a traditional education. Greg is a great speaker and brings new insights into conversation that otherwise may never surface. It is always a new experience with each episode and I am open to learning. In closure I truly enjoy the Gift of curiosity Greg continues to bring to his audiences and encourage listeners to check Open Loops out with an open mind.
