Founded in 1988 originally as Self Communications by Michael and Paulina Domeyko Rowland, The Absolute Happiness Institute is the home of Michael's work created during his 35+ year career researching and teaching about the mind and consciousness. Michael was Australia’s leading Personal Development author and presenter who inspired the world and changed the lives of many people. Michael Domeyko Rowland was Australia’s leading Personal Development author and presenter.His book, ‘Absolute Happiness’ is a national best seller and was published worldwide by Hay House of California. He lectured in the U.K.the U.S.A., N.Z. and Australia. His seminars have been attended by over 220,000 people. Michael is also well known for his work with teenagers. Prior to commencing his seminar work twenty five years ago, Michael was highly successful in the Australian film and television industry. He worked on a number of films and TV documentaries, dramas and feature films, starting as an assistant director in 1969, on Skippy the Kangaroo, Spyforce, with Jack Thompson, ‘Age of Consent’ with James Mason and Helen Mirren, and ‘Wake in Fright’ with Donald Pleasance. In 1985, he directed several episodes of the world wide smash hit television series ‘Return to Eden’. In 1986, he left the industry to begin his career researching and teaching about the mind and consciousness.
