The Surprising Rebirth in the Belief In God

Is there a Revival Brewing? The New Atheists who dominated the early 2000s seem to have lost steam and people are returning back to God and Religion. Here is the recent evidence; Richard Dawkins has said that he is cultural Christian and Bill Maher is turning against the woke crowd. In this Podcast Father Craig talks about this phenomenon and references a recent book that is talking about this revival phenomenon: The Surprising Belief in the Rebirth of God.

Why Hippie Jesus Does Not Work

Why Hippie Jesus Does Not Work

Father Craig talks about how Christianity is more than just being "nice" and Christ was so much more than just a moral teacher or philosopher. Christianity is an all encompassing choice to pick up your cross and follow Jesus. If the appeal to "join the church" is that is will nice and unchallenging it is false advertising and misses half of the power of being a Catholic Christian

A practical summary of why and what we Catholic Christians try to do

Fr. Craig and Jimmy Vreeland take the time to explain some tough and complex concepts. I appreciate the practical explanations. I especially liked the explanation of striving for moral excellence even though we are all imperfect and sinners. And the way the Church Community and Sacraments help us on that journey.

During Easter season 2024, the podcast on “The Greatest Story Ever Told” and rituals helped remind me of many important truths about who we are as children of God and why we have rituals that may seem unnecessary to those who don’t practice or may not understand.
