The Real Deal!

Kenny’s energy and passion for mental health awareness are evident in every message. What he shares is raw, heartfelt, and compelling. The wisdom gleaned by one who’s walked through the lonely valley of deep personal struggle and come out the other side has so much to offer. If you’ve never reached the edge of reason and this feels extreme, know that life can unravel slowly or suddenly for anyone. Now is the time to prepare and those of you the front lines as first responders are at greater risk. Take the advise he offers and put it into practice. Prioritizing mental and emotional wellness and finding healthy activities that enhance your resiliency are as vital as your PPE. If you find yourself familiar with the slippery slope of negative or destructive rumination, Kenny’s messages may be the disruptive battle call and hopeful encouragement you need! Heed the warnings from one who’s been there. Don’t lose years spiraling; grab the lifeline Kenny and others are offering. There are too many of us to ever feel alone. Believe it!

Great podcast!

Kenny does an excellent job delivering messages about the importance of prioritizing mental health, particularly for first responders and their families. In sharing his own personal journey and struggles, he helps to break the stigma that first responders shouldn’t struggle and shouldn’t get help. Delivered with humor, passion, a genuine concern for people, and stories from his 21-year career in fire services, his podcast creates hope for people experiencing mental health challenges. I share his podcast with my counseling clients. Tune in!
