Opie Radio

I’ve been a fan since 95 in Boston. Always loved Opie. Sometimes his live streams are dull but still entertaining(he will say when they stink). His show with Carl is the best. And for those of you that say Carl would be a good host, you don’t listen to opies podcast. He passed in 2019 and left a hole in all of our lives. Love you Ope. 100 grand was the best!

I have been a fan since then old Opie and Anthony fans. I was even a fan at the beginning of this podcast, but what it has turned in to since the untimely deaths of Carl Ruiz and Vic Henley is just terrible. Opie is struggling so hard to be relevant and it is kind of sad to see. He just isn’t funny and he tries to hard to give commentary on stuff and he doesn’t realize we don’t care about his opinion. Hardly anyone knows who he is anymore and all the old fans have moved on to listening to podcasts of talented and funny people. This just isn’t it.

FINAL Show I’m listening to - Opie’s TERRIBLE…Try’s too hard to be funny and his voice sounds like someone having mental issues. Liked him on the O&A show so this is sad.. UPDATE-Opie needs to lose his new speech pattern-very annoying. Opie should listen to his old radio shows and try that approach not the new valley girl impressions. Carl is great! He could be the host since he is very entertaining and funny. Don’t like the traveling podcasts where you hear a lot of background noises. Opie tries a little too hard but he has definitely improved.
