Full disclosure, I know Prof. Barry and consider him a good friend. But that is how I trust the podcast will hit listeners. He will quickly become a good and wise friend. Barry is every bit as kind, thoughtful and direct in every day situations as presented here. I’m an even older computer scientist. I lived the world of computing he describes in episode one. Episode two made me proud to count Barry among my friends. Heroes and resistance, heinous brutality and death are a part of the lives of too many South Africans of my generation. I am glad that Barry told his story. I can’t wait for what comes next.
