Great banter and good vibes while talking about unloved movies that I would never otherwise learn about.

I only recently discovered this podcast and I must say that it is a wonderful and refreshing look at the forgotten films and TV shows of yesteryear. Christopher and his guests have a positive and charming way to look at these works, and it's nice to hear folks admiring the work that went into them, regardless of their current reputation. Add to the fact that each show has a run time of about an hour (more or less) makes it a great alternative to the 2 or 3 hour gab fests out there. Keep up the good work, Christopher and thanks for a wonderful show!

Thanks to Christopher and Lydia I've found many new favorites...and a few not so favorite. It's nice to hear about films that aren't in the limelight.

Just because its in the public domain doesn't mean it isn't any good, but then again how can you know without watching it first? This podcast! They will go over one movie per show and give you a great discussion and historical perspective. Check them out!

Have listened to several episodes of the show and it has bumped its way to the top of my favorites list. The best part is the variety of things they can cover, movies, radio dramas, short subjects, educational films and possibly books. The hosts are fun to listen to and really seem to enjoy what they are doing, even if what they are discussing is really bad. I also like that they don't put down the film or film makers or make snarky, mean spirited comments, even if they probably deserve them. Even if you have no intention of watching or listening to what is being discussed, it's worth the listen for the back and forth between Chris and Lydia and the occasional guest. Now when I review something I usually like to have at least one comment on something to improve or work on, however I really can't think of anything. The closest I can come up with is that they need to do more shows than once a month. I'm afraid in 50 years they'll still have a long way to go before they finish.

Orphaned Entertainment looks into the world of works that have become part of the public domain. Christopher and Lydia are like cinematic gemologists; they find the "diamonds in the rough" and share them with us!
