Not a Competition with Teresa Franz

In today’s episode, Emily chats with a local Austin, TX Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Teresa Franz who owns her own business, Hope Tribe Counseling, about Comparison Culture. Emily and Teresa are like old friends chatting about how to be a good enough mom which you’ll be super surprised to hear that you DO NOT have to be perfect. Kids need to see you fail and thrive. They need to see you make mistakes and move on because you are teaching them how to cope and deal with all types of situations. You can not shelter them from the world but you can teach them to love themselves and look within. As a parent your children look to you for so many aspects of their life. So why not show them a healthy way of interacting on social media and applauding others successes and put aside the inherent competitive nature we as a culture create? So its time to take down your guard, be authentic with those around you and get real your friends on social media as well as those in person.  https://www.hopetribetx.com Check out Teresa’s website and show her some love on social feeds!
