I was an underdog most of my life. Most who crossed my path chose to take me down instead of building me up. For a very long time, I lost belief in my abilities and suffered from low self-esteem. I let others dictate my life because I wanted to please them and be loved by all and lost myself in the process. I neglected my core, my intuition and suffered peacefully for many years. This continued for many years and about ten years ago a shift occurred for me. I adapted the mission of helping others become successful and in doing so have achieved success beyond my expectations. It's a force that I can't control nor do I want to.
It has become my mission and now want to share it with all. All have a voice and the stories you will hear are those of perseverance, overcoming obstacles and at the same time bringing joy to others.

Lanny Cordola is on a Live-Saving Mission
Lanny Cordola is on a life-saving mission to help some of his young female guitar students left behind in Afghanistan ... and the stakes are life and death.
The legendary rocker talked to us about his efforts of late to help 12 girls -- not to mention their families and loved ones -- flee Taliban-controlled Afghanistan ... which is even more difficult now that the U.S. is completely gone.
As you can imagine -- and as Lanny tells us plainly here -- the situation is dire ... and these girls are in hiding at the moment as they try and flee the country with the help of LC and others working behind the scenes, and across the border in Pakistan -- where he is now.
Lanny tells us the Taliban has destroyed a facility they used in Afghanistan to teach/play music -- blowing out the windows of the building and clearing the place out. They're not too fond of those types of teachings, especially if females are involved.
These are pupils of his, BTW -- ones who were part of his Miraculous Love Kids foundation -- an org. he started to help teach music to children in war-torn parts of the world.
That's not deterring Larry though, who's determined to bring the rescue mission to a close -- and it sounds like that might happen any day now ... following some recent failed attempts. FYI ... there's another celeb who's been involved with the MLK music program -- and Lanny says he's donated generously in the past to make these girls feel like true rock stars.
Speaking of donations ... the rock community appears to be rallying around Lanny's cause here. Tom Morello of RATM asked for donations to miraculouslovekids.org to help fund what Lanny's trying to do here -- and it sounds like they could still use the help, even now.
LC's got a touching reason for why he's so involved in this, and why it means a lot to him. We'll let him explain for himself -- but it's truly above and beyond for an awful predicament.

The Incredible Story of Rico Corrubia
After finishing film school, Rico Corrubia was doing drama therapy at the Children's Hospital in Washington DC to help families navigate the tough process of having their kids hospitalized. Although he felt his life wasn't moving in any particular direction, he had decided to get an advanced degree.
Before going back to school, a friend convinced him to take a summer job in Atlantic City. The payment was excellent, and he would work in sound production, so he decided to give it a shot. Rico immediately fell in love with the community and atmosphere, and he mastered the craft in no time. The next thing he knew, he was behind a console, and on the stage, Frank Sinatra was singing.
Fast forward many years, Rico became a legend in the entertainment industry; he worked and traveled the world with stars like Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, Christina Aguilera, and Michael Crawford, to name a few. Rico also worked in Broadway with Andrew Lloyd Webber and charitable functions like "Broadway Barks" and "Rockers on Broadway." But one day, he felt a slight discomfort in the chest, which was diagnosed as a pulled shoulder muscle, and ended up being an aneurysm. The diagnosis felt like a kick in the teeth to Rico and his family, but unfortunately, the challenges he would have to face were just warming up.
In this episode, I'm joined by Rico Corrubia and his family, his wife Rebecca, and his son Lucas. We delve into Rico's unfortunate outcome spawned by the defective care he received at the hospital after his open-heart surgery. Together, we go through the entire process he and his family went through, dealing with the hospital's negligence that cost him his fingers and toes and the lack of accountability from the hospital's authorities.
