Hi I’m JP Patino, and about 10 years ago, shortly after moving to Seattle, my wife Meghan and I started to dream about one day taking a year of travel. we started saving money, lots of things happened between then and now: other dreams, new jobs, bought a house, had another kid, COVID. We now have 3 kids ages 14, 11 and 3 and this is our year. This is a podcast about our travels during our year abroad.

    In Indonesia: Cooking Up some Balinese Cuisine and Releasing Sea Turtles

    We travel to Bali! This is our last country on our journey. In Bali we go to the Uluwatu temple to see the fire dance. We release some sea turtles and finally cook up some Chicken Sate and a Balinese Tuna salad.
