Since stumbling across OBDM during Covid, I listen to every episode and even revisit them when they get released on YouTube (appreciate the effort to get videos posted guys). I genuinely get excited whenever I see there’s a new episode out. That being said, I genuinely hate all of you.
Mike’s sense of humor (especially his drops) is great, I wish he had a library of his sources for them (can’t find original “TWO? MAYBE FOUR?” Sound bite). I swear to god he’s purposely mispronouncing stuff at this point though. From names that EVERYONE has heard said aloud, to words that are commonplace for English speakers, Mike will always find a new way to pronounce it. There’s at least one mispronunciation every segment. I WOULD feel bad if it turned out Mike had dyslexia or something, but “if you have dyslexia, maybe you shouldn’t choose podcasting as a profession” sounds like a direct quote from midnight Mike himself.
Joe makes the most contradictory statements of anyone on the planet, just starts by saying one absurd thing and completely walking it back by the end of the statement or the end of the following episode. If you listen closely during his segments, you can actually hear at which point in his thought process he ALMOST allows himself to think critically, but then just decides to agree with whatever statement from a political pundit showed up on his feed that day (likely Candace). Idk how someone who can’t think for themself can be SO opinionated. They aren’t even his opinions. Mental equivalent of that guy in high school whose biggest personality trait is whichever YouTube doc he watched most recently.
Cretched gotta lotta hate in his heart, I respect it.
This show would be an unbelievable performance art piece of a group of podcasters who slowly stop supporting a rude, unintelligent, pedophilic president, but they have such little spines that they never actually realize they don’t support him anymore. He’s in the files, any more fence sitting on that topic and you three will be complicit.
Keep up the great work and make some changes! Or don’t! I’ll probably listen either way
