This is a 4-part series to discuss the essence of Christmas. In this part we will talk a little about Israel's Sojourn and its tie to Christmas. Once while thinking about the story in Exodus through Deuteronomy, I came to a realization that the story of Israel in Egypt, leaving Egypyt, problems on the way and reaching the promise land was similar to the spiritual journey we take as humans and Christians.
