Thy Will Be Done
Does prayer enable God to do his will? In this episode, Dr. Paulson outlines that God does not require human prayer to accomplish his will. Instead, the Lord's prayer provides us a model for praying against ourselves and our sinful will and trusting in the work of God.

Thy Kingdom Come
What does it mean to pray for the Kingdom of God? Does God need us to desire or earn the coming of His kingdom? Dr. Paulson addresses that God's kingdom will come when God pleases, even without our prayer. Instead, he uses this prayer as a promise that his kingdom is coming for us.

Brilliant mind
Dr. Paulson has helped me greatly to understand his Outlaw God books that I am slowly going through. He has gone over the first book. I have had to go to many different sources (that the book shows as references) to get a better understanding of what he has written. Deep thoughts and connections that never would have come to me are revealed. While I don’t always agree (at this point) , his insights are very compelling and leave me with days of thought and pondering. I can’t wait for the podcast to come out each week and I usually go through them at least 2 times each week. Only wish there was more releases.
Mindblowing and consistently challenging
The Outlaw God podcast with Steve Paulson and Caleb Keith pushes the edge of what we think about God and pushes us into hearing the proclamation. I started at the beginning and am still catching up while I listen to the new series on the small catechism, but Paulson and Keith consistently cut through mires of my previous evangelical theology and general American cultural philosophy into the God of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While walking through Paulson’s “Luther’s Outlaw God”, they dive into the Bible, medieval philosophy, and our modern context. I would highly recommend, especially for a discussion group.
Evangelical faith
A deep dive into the reform of our concept of God that happened 500 years ago. It wasn’t a more timely than you think. You are not the sum of your mistakes or accomplishments. You are a child of God in His story, forgiven and redeemed! You have everything you need for the next leap of faith Life will demand of you.
