Writing a review on these podcasts also applies to speaking about the incredible human behind them as well, Steph Grant. I came across her photography profile a while back on Instagram and was so drawn by the way she delivered her photos, as they weren’t ‘just photos’, they were stories, they were connected to a feeling I couldn’t really explain. These podcasts put those words I once could not define, how her work drew me in...it’s her rawness, her real ness, it’s Steph creating such a safe and open space for those she works with, in a way that any of us can connect. The ability to be open and accepting, understanding of everyone’s stories, reminding it’s ok to be ourselves just as we are, to talk about the hard things and good things, all that it happens in being a human being living our lives. We all have different journeys, and by talking about the things that maybe keep us up at night, or maybe the things that we struggle with, overthink, or the things that helped us be where we wanted to be all along, the fun or funny moments, it helps us to connect with others and be reminded we are not alone. We can find hope maybe in days when it’s hard. We get a better understanding of our friends, families, neighbors, other humans who are also trying their best to navigate life. It opens up the space for more conversations. It brings people closer. Keeping it real, honest and with so much respect! They are definitely a must listen!! These podcasts are helping me in a difficult moment in life, not only due to Coronavirus times we are currently living through in the US, but also some personal times, and I’m grateful to have them to cheer me up ❤️
