    Introvert Extrovert Doesn't Matter

This week we're talking about how subscriptions are taking over our lives - don't act like they don't take over yours too! We compare lists, and think about why they're so long... Which leads into our talk about introverts and how staying in on a Friday night to watch Netflix is suddenly the new cool, but does that mean introversion is now cool too? What's the difference, and why do people keep getting confused between introversion and just needing some time to recharge by yourself?  Side note: We're so sorry about the quality of this week's podcast - we have been trialling a new program and it didn't turn out as great as we were hoping. We hope you'll bear with us, and we promise we'll be back to our normal, high quality content next week! 01:20 - Gabbi has 12 subscriptions! 03:30 - Amy breaks down her subscriptions 06:48 - The dreaded "What did you do this weekend?" question 08:15 - Does introversion = stay at home/social anxiety? 13:55 - Do your research before making statements! 16:50 - Being a solo traveller and an introvert 19:08 - Quality v quantity in regards to introversion and extroversion and friendships 19:35 - 16 Personalities + Myer Briggs 21:30 - Adapting the way you work based on who you are 23:50 - Don't let labels restrict you, but use it as a starting point to guide you As we mentioned, this is the 16 Personalities quiz: https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test Follow us at @Overworkedpodcast on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with our day to day antics! This podcast was produced by Amy, with royalty free music provided by Audio Library and Ikson

Let Me See If You Can Run It, Run It

Easter = chocolate, easter eggs, hot cross buns, chocolate bunnies. Easter is the time when diets are put aside, exercise regimes are excused, and easter egg hunts are the extent of our activity for the weekend. But the media makes us feel bad about when we indulge, and guilts us into 'working off' the calories we consume over the weekend, and all the time. So, how do you deal with making exercise something you enjoy, rather than attaching it to/associating it with the idea of it being a punishment for the food you've eaten? This week we talk about how both of us have struggled with this, and what we do to try to avoid falling into the negative mindset of working off 'bad' foods.  02:52 - Should you be trying to balance the easter eggs you eat with exercise?  05:18 - Viewing exercise as a punishment 05:48 - Gabbi's experience with an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise 07:24 - Bad food v good food 10:09 - Counteracting the thoughts of an eating disorder 12:03 - Tumblr: bad influence, or community facilitator?  14:06 - Amy's experience with her relationship with food 16:24 - How has Amy dealt with the pressures of being different, and dealing with depression 18:46 - High school is brutal 19:42 - There is so much more to life than how much you eat and how much you exercise 20:49 - Talking about diets 24:28 - Being appreciative of what your body can do Have a great and safe Easter! x Follow us at @Overworkedpodcast on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with our day to day antics! This podcast was produced by Amy, with royalty free music provided by Audio Library and Ikson

    Every Day I'm Hustling

Hustle, Hustle, Hustle... We hear it so much, as entrepreneurs, and boss ladies, and around the echo chamber of business people, but what does it ACTUALLY mean? We dive into how we thought it meant working hard, and how that lead us to experience burn-out. Burn-out is something that we all deal with at some point or another, but we've realised that some people experience it a little more than others, and in different ways. We then flip the conversation around, and find out the TRUTH! ie. what the dictionary describes as 'hustle', and plot twist, it's not what you thought... 00:45 - What does 'hustle' mean to us?  02:42 - The toxic culture of ALWAYS working 03:19 - Stress v burn-out  06:55 - The factors that contribute to burn-out 08:01 - If you find yourself crying in the bathroom, you probably should be in that environment 10:15 - Remembering your core values in the midst of burn-out 12:03 - The importance of mental health days 13:03 - How society pressures everyone to know exactly what they want to be when they grow up 15:23 - The importance of failing, and Gabbi recommends reflection! 16:23 - Hustle: verb, noun, illegal 18:04 - Hustling in Fyre Festival 22:07 - Being transparent about what you're selling 25:01 - How. Good. Was. Fyre Festival's. Social. Media?! Don't You Know That You're Toxic?

This week, Gabbi sprained her ankle, we chat about Married At First Sight, and identifying 'your five'. Toxic relationships are a real thing , but has MAFS normalised them, when it's actually something we really should be talking about? We talk about our experiences in toxic relationships, and watching our friends fall into toxic relationships, as well as identifying the triggers and red flags, and finding ways to phase them out. We also talk about matching up values, and how your friendships and relationships should compliment you really well, rather than change or smother you.  00:10 - Gabbi tries to fly 02:40 - Petrol light? What petrol light?  03:38 - What does 'being more human' mean?  04:18 - Let's talk MAFS? 07:00 - Toxic relationships 09:08 - How your friends could help you identify if you're in a toxic relationship 11:38 - When your values are compromised in your toxic relationship 12:50 - Toxic friendships v toxic relationships  15:59 - You are a combination of the 5 people you spend the most time with 18:30 - Know who you are and what you deserve; does Amy have high expectations?  19:06 - Relationships should compliment you and your values 20:42 - How to get out of toxic relationships 23:50 - We are actually grandmas...  24:37 - Key takeaways Follow us at @Overworkedpodcast on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with our day to day antics! This podcast was produced by Amy, with royalty free music provided by Audio Library and Ikson
