You Don't Need to Believe It's Possible to Make It Happen

You don't have to believe it's possible to build a 6-figure business. You just have to act like it's already happening. In this episode I'm breaking down one of the biggest myths in entrepreneurship - that you need rock-solid belief before you can create real results. You don't. Belief is built through action, not the other way round. You'll hear about the 'mind nonsense' that trips up business owners at every single stage, how to spot the "it's easier for them" stories you might be telling yourself and the excuses dressed up as reasons that are likely stopping you from creating what you're really capapable of. This is a tough-love, real-talk conversation so you can see all the places you might be doing this that you haven't even realised. I know I did this. I also share the exact thought pattern that helped me stick at it when I didn't have clients, wasn't making money and had no evidence that it was working, and share why "arguing with your current reality" might be the most underrated skill you can develop. If your goal is big and some days you don't believe you'll get there, this episode is for you. It's your reminder to keep going anyway. In this episode you'll hear -  Why belief is a result of action, not mandatory How to spot "mind nonsense" vs. useful thinking in real time and what to do about it  The story behind my first year in business and the offhand comment that almost stopped me Why stubbornness and determination are underrated entrepreneurial superpowers The one question to ask yourself instead of "why can't I do this?" I hope you enjoy this episode! The gap between making £30k a year and £100k isn't strategy - it's identity. Here's how to work on it

Most people think that identity work is fluffy and a bit vague. Something nice to think about but not something that has the power to change the results in your business. It really does. It's the difference between being someone who does a job (a coach, a designer, a consultant) and being someone who runs and grows a business. When you see yourself as the leader, the CEO who runs the business, it changes your decision making, the opportunities you take and the ones you don't.  When you don't have that identity built, here's what happens. You might be waiting for all the information and the answers before you take a single step. You want to know the whole path before you start, and because that's impossible, chances are you don't move at all. Then there's the fear of failure - avoiding putting your message out because you don't want the discomfort of it not working, of hearing a no and feeling like you got it wrong. So you don't show up, don't learn (and also don't fail, but it comes at a huge price) Lastly, not seeing yourself as an expert. Thinking you need letters after your name or years at a top university before you fully own that piece of your identity. This episode walks through all of it. What it actually means to build an entrepreneurial identity. Why risk and reward have to be looked at together, not risk on its own. Why 10% chaos is just the cost of growing a business, not a sign something's wrong. I'll show you how the fastest way to grow your skill is to be willing to put things out, get it wrong sometimes, and learn from what didn't land. You'll leave this episode with a different relationship to the parts of business that feel hard. You'll know how to separate your worth as an expert from your growing pains as an entrepreneur. And you'll know you can call yourself an expert. Come back to this episode any time you're feeling wobbly on this. This is what helps you grow when you know deep down it's not the strategy that needs to be fixed. It's how you're engaging with it. If you've loved this episode, send it to someone who needs to hear this today. Think of someone who has been thinking that they've been failing (when in fact they've been growing into a new identity!)  And if you're ready to map out your path to making more money, book a free consultation here. https://calendly.com/mrg_coaching/consultation  Follow along on Instagram for more! From doing £80 resumes to £100K in a year - the marketing formula I wish someone had given me six years ago

Six years ago I was recording podcasts in my kids' bedroom, drowning in free webinars, trying on new strategies weekly and charging £80 for LinkedIn resumes because I had no idea what my real offer even was. In this episode, I take you inside those messy first two years and the exact shift that turned throwing a ton of spaghetti against the wall into a business that actually works and creates money - simply. Most entrepreneurs don't have a strategy problem. They are disconnected from the person they're meant to be helping, and from the bigger version of the business they're building. I'm sharing the five questions that help with every piece of marketing and every sales conversation I have - and help my clients do the same. They strip out the noise, stop your "is this working?" anxiety, and help you create grounded, sustainable momentum you can maintain. If you're sitting on real skill and real experience but still find yourself overthinking, delaying action and watching the months go by without making money, this is the episode that you need to keep coming back to. Because showing up with energy, commitment and enthusiasm has to be the foundation. These questions help you do that. Press play if you're ready to stop making marketing harder than it needs to be, and start showing up like the person who's already built the £100K business. Ready to book a consultation? What happens on a business consultation?

Here's the thing about a business consultation. Most people think it's just a chat about ideas and seeing what we can figure out together.  A 'chemistry check'. A 'getting to know you'. Mine aren't. It's an hour where someone who's trained to hold space and qualified in coaching tools is completely, entirely focused on you. Just you, showing up exactly as you are, telling me everything that's happening, the stuff you love about your business, what you're doing now. The stuff you don't love and what feels difficult and challenging. It's a space for you to get honest with yourself about all of it and know you won't be met with a shred of judgment. Here's what happens in that hour. First, we lay it all out on the table. Everything you're doing, every strategy, every tactic, every offer, your price, your marketing and sales process.  It gets organised, rated and reflected back to you. And almost every single client tells me this is the lightbulb moment, because when you finally see it all laid out it makes total sense why you've been feeling frustrated or drained, or why your results are what they are now. Then we get to the good part. What do you really want? Not what you think you need to 'get by', not the safe number that you think is possible for you to achieve in your business. The actual goal you haven't given yourself permission to want or go for. I ask you to dream properly, and this moment is transformative. Most people have never had someone hold space for them, have never been asked that, and have never have someone take them seriously. That changes you on a very deep level. You'll see what you've been hiding from yourself. And then we map the path between where you are and where you want to get to. This is unique to you. This is your path, based on where you're starting and what's true for you now with everything that you have going on. I'll share what you would need to shift - and how you would do that. The unique process that will support you and lead you to create exactly what you want. You leave that hour knowing what you want, why you want it, and exactly what's been creating your results so far. You'll know the steps that would go into creating a new, big result. It's an hour that changes the direction of everything you do next. You leave having clarity, focus and knowing the areas in your business where you need to spend time and energy. You'll know the difference between a 'tomorrow problem' and a 'today problem'.  This is the value - this is the gold. I'd love to invite you to invest this time in discovering what you want and figuring out how you can get it. Schedule it in here. https://calendly.com/mrg_coaching/consultation

Why Social Media feels Tiring (and the simple fix)

Feeling exhausted just thinking about posting on social media to grow your business? You're not alone.  In this episode, we uncover the real reason showing up online feels so draining. It's not the platform, it's the unchecked thoughts running in the background. It can sound like "nobody's watching," "what if I say the wrong thing?," "is this even working?" That mental loop is keeping you tired, resentful and makes it so much harder to connect with your best clients wherever you're showing up. The fix is simple. Stop trying to speak to everyone and start speaking to one person. Stop measuring impressions and reach because they mean nothing about your ability to make money and sign clients. Huge reach and lots of views doesn't translate automatically to sales. Pick just one or two platforms and let your message be messy, honest, and feel like you.  If you're ready to trade the noise and pressure for a calm, sustainable way to show up, this episode will change how you think about visibility for good. Want more help with this? Join me for a free marketing and sales masterclass on July 15th. You'll learn what exactly goes into doubling your revenue in a short period of time. The mindset, the sales skills and the strategy that makes that possible (and fun)  Here's where to sign up. Are you solving the wrong problem for your stage of business? Here's the fix

If you've ever felt confused, overwhelmed, or like you're doing everything wrong in your business... you're probably just solving the wrong problem. The wrong problem for your stage right now. In this episode, I'm breaking down exactly what to focus on, whether you're at zero, at 10K, at 50K, or pushing toward six figures a year in revenue, and why comparing yourself to people at different stages is a shortcut to overwhelm, distraction and frustration. This is the episode I wish someone had handed me on day one of starting my business!  I see this pattern show up again and again. Business owners feeling 'behind' 'not good enough' or overwhelmed. Not because they aren't good at what they do. Because they're solving the wrong problem for where they actually are in their business. I walk you through a simple three-stage framework so you can focus on the right things at the right stage. You'll hear-  Why chasing a niche, a beautiful website, or a growth strategy too early creates confusion. You'll also hear the refreshingly simple definition of what actually makes you a real business owner (this is worth the episode alone) How to focus on what's working instead of chasing more. I explain the 'winning formula' concept, why list size and lead volume matter far less than people think, and how selling skill is way more important than strategy at this point. The importance of celebrating what you've built, how to know which systems are worth automating, and my honest take on the best investments if you want to keep growing to six figures and beyond. Along the way you'll hear why 'staying in your lane' is actually a practical strategy for making clear decisions, and how you can do that simply, even when there is a huge temptation to compare yourself to other people. If you've ever felt like you don't know what you should be doing or why, this episode helps you see what is important to you right now so you can stay on track and reach your goals.
