In this series, people from all walks of life, such as Covid 19 ambulance drivers, doctors, nurses, teachers, salon staff, police officers, among others share their experience of living through the pandemic. As I stayed cooped up in my house, I felt the need to listen to and know the lives of others. So I stepped out and started listening. These interviews were conducted in the suburbs of Mumbai. I invite you now to listen to these voices. So that by knowing and sharing our life experiences, especially of those who have been left completely disempowered, we may find ways of coming together.

Therefore it seems that it must be difficult to reach out to these students during the prolonged lockdown.     Autodrivers in the pandemic: Waiting and worrying (English/Hindi)

    With a city that is barely moving and no passengers to ferry, autodrivers are some of the worst hit. These are people who were doing reasonably well earlier but are now not able to stay afloat. The mental turmoil resulting from not being able to feed one's family, send children to school and pay loans is seen everywhere.

So that by knowing and sharing our life experiences, especially of those who have been left completely disempowered, we may find ways of coming together, of pulling ourselves out of this and emerging at the other side stronger and better. I will try my best to upload one episode every fortnight. The episodes will be in either English, Hindi or Marathi or a combination of these.
