    Stephen Volk is a BAFTA winning, master of horror writing, best known for being the creator of the 1992 BBC drama, Ghostwatch, that spooked the nation. He went on to write the acclaimed series, Afterlife, starring Andrew Lincoln and Lesley Sharp. His first produced screenplay was Ken Russel's Gothic. He adapted Phil Rickman's best-selling supernatural/crime novel Midwinter of the Spirit as a 3-part miniseries for ITV. He's author of several books and has won awards for his novels.
