Panic Area is a solo audio drama disguised as a lecture series podcast where I discuss a multitude of topics that can make people feel panicked, such as relationships, mental health, communication, education, careers, peer pressures of all ages, religion, culture, etc. My focus is to present my experience with these topics in hopes to broaden your perspective and maybe learn something about myself as well. Expect short audio dramas and original commercial parodies sprinkled in between discussions to keep the show entertaining and help relieve you of any panic you are feeling.

    'Twas a Week Before Christmas 🎄

    I wrote, acted, and edited two short covid Christmas themed audio dramas. There is also solo banter from my describing how I feel about the holidays this year. I made sure not to add any lectures or rants because we could all use a break. Hope everyone has a safe holiday break.

    (Where did you go?) Celebrating Friendships Past pt. 2

    Just Some good ol' fashioned podcast banter, with even more sound bits to add to the drama. This is part 2 to the last episode, and is dedicated to celebrating friendships! Over a year ago I recorded the first episode of BTW Podcast with a couple of friends of mine, and I am sharing this episode not just because I am overwhelmed with school and work but also because I want to take a break from lecture based content I've put out so far. I have added some familiar Panic Area Elements to the old episode so be on the lookout for some fun sound bits and skits.  Some sounds maybe a little alarming when driving so I highly recommend listening to this at home ( a warning is presented at the beginning of the episode).

    (Where Did You Come From?) Celebrating Friendships Past

    Just some good ol' fashioned podcast banter. This episode is dedicated to celebrating friendships! Over a year ago I recorded the first episode of BTW Podcast with a couple friends of mine, and I am sharing this episode not just because i'm overwhelmed with school work but also because id want to take a break from lectures and post something purely fun. We can call this a sort of Free Period episode, in contrast to the other lecture based content i've put out so far. I have added some familiar Panic Area elements to the old episode so be on the lookout for some fun sound bits and skits. 😅😂

    Things You Must Know to Survive (the Holidays) During a Pandemic 😷

    I give a speech going over many bits of information regarding using healthy Communication  knowledge for being safe during the Holiday Season during the Covid-19 pandemic. "Weather" you like it or not this holiday season is going to be different, we must discuss how to be safe when visiting family. I am not an expert but I want to share my experiences so you know that you are not alone and that you can stand up for yourself. 😷✋ No matter your group or age Peer pressure is a major problem especially within the family setting.     Fear: Throwing Rocks At Spiders

    The scariest thing about this episode is that I recorded and edited it in a public Coffee bar and I was terrified the entire time! Not just because of the pandemic but because of public embarrassment. 😨😱👻 Also first ever guest appearance from my friends Cayla and Sam as they weigh in with their ideas of ghosts. I also briefly discuss the concept of fear and i constantly apologize for deleting the hour long Halloween special 😅 Happy Halloween 🎃

    The Pitch: A Better Impression

    Surprise! He does comedy bits too! ...or at least he tries 😅 Most podcast's have their first awkward episode and then jump straight into their standard content, but i'm not gonna do that! I am a renegade and decided to introduce myself again by premiering my cold open skits. Also I have no idea what i'm doing so this will be a learning experience  for all of us.  In episodes to come these skits will be a means of introducing the lecture or discussion topic though an entertaining and energetic way. It's also my way of practicing voice acting and audio engineering. 👉👈 Anyways in this episode I will be diving a bit more into the type of content which will be discussed in this podcast series.  Hope y'all enjoy! 🙋‍♂️

    The First Awkward Impression

    DON'T LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE IT'S SUPER AWK!!! Like the first episode of The Office. 😖 This is my attempt at introducing myself, my energy, and the themes of the Panic Area Podcast. I don't think I did that great of a job, but you can't start anything without that first awkward step.  I am so sorry about not editing the background music out of the intro! I promise it won't happen again; I am learning... 😅 More episodes are on the way and they will be better and more exciting, I promise!  "The first step to being good at something is being bad at something." -Jake the Dog.
