This weeks podcast (episode 12) really hit home! I’ve been struggling with the issue and found it to be a huge relief that I’m not the only one out there! With the kids being home on summer break, being a single mom—still trying to keep up with work, etc., I find that the kids are gaming for the majority of the day. I’ve had a ton of guilt about it. I have realized that it is a form of socialization for them, while being stuck at home. Once I’m done with my work for the day, we are at the pool or playing outside, and no gaming in the evenings! Yes, they do give me a hard time on occasion about turning it off but, like Jay said, kids are going to throw a fit about having to stop anything that they enjoy doing.
James, Jordan & Jay, always a job well done!
