I’m an 80’s baby... I lived through suppressing all my emotions and feeling pretty alone. I felt pretty different growing up and felt like it was almost impossible. I didn’t understand why I felt so hard and why I knew things before they would happen.  ⁣⁣Fast forward awhile, when we started acknowledging life was hard. I realized we all have been dealt the cards, it was just some hidden weird secret growing up. ⁣I realized that knowing was a pretty strong intuition. A gift I would say now. ⁣⁣My life has been full of so many life situations. I have had thousands of real life conversations all from my nail desk ( nail tech most my adult life ) and let me tell you, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. ⁣⁣I could go on forever, with what I have learned. No degree, just the real raw and personal. Which brings me to a podcast. I can’t think of a better way to express the words in my mind. ⁣⁣My goal is to speak from the heart, hence the heart talks with Sha 😉⁣⁣My goal is to find the guests that have been through it too. ⁣⁣My goal is to have a special teen edition, because that’s the stage of life I’m in.  ⁣⁣My goal is to talk relationships, because I married my high school sweetheart. ⁣⁣My goal is to talk perception, because that is a HUGE contributor to our day to day life. ⁣⁣My goal is to show you where I came from and where I am now. Not without plenty of struggle, but struggle is just a learned moment in this journey of life! ⁣⁣Lets get PASSIONATE ON PURPOSE 🩷

    Send us a text It has been a hot minute since I have been here. I actually recorded a podcast during the holidays that got ERASED when I tried to edit a part.  It's very rare that I edit or omit anything I say.  I actually just roll with whatever comes to me, but that podcast there was one slight thing I decided not to say.  Somehow, the whole thing vanished.  I guess it wasn't meant to be.   However, it then caused a long pause between podcasts.   Kind of my theme of the New Year tho, to be honest.  Slow, pauses, remove anything that doesn't align.   I read something about being in your 40s ( and living until your in your 80's ) which leaves a whole other lifetime to be lived.   This got me so excited.  This next chapter is going to be by design.  The healed version of me.  The version of me that has learnt so many lessons.  The version of me that know how to find glimmers in the hard, ordinary and mundane.   I GET to apply all of that to my new "updated" lifetime.   I would never erase the first half.  I have such a beautiful life/story full of all the experiences to bring me to this point.  Even the hard offers so much beauty, in A LEARNING KIND OF WAY.  Join me in this episode full of 2025/2026 talk, new lifetime, glimmers, hope... and a rambled sort of pep talk ;) Join me over on Instagram for daily inspiration and motivation! www.instagram.com/passionate.on.purpose

    Embrace your seasons, Words do hurt, Hallmark Christmas movies are amazing, Don't let A-holes steal your light!

    Send us a text Remember the saying....Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.....  I remember using this to stick up to kids that were mean.  Reality is, words do hurt.  An un-healed version of me just got that reality check.   I'm a queen at hiding the hard away in little boxes.  Only pulling it out when I fully feel I'm ready to feel.   Big lesson: When too much piles up, the smallest things can break you.   Reminder to myself: Tucking it away doesn't make it disappear.  Don't be so busy pushing away, that you forget to heal through what you go through.  Life is full of seasons and it is up to us to heal, clear out the old, refuel and find our light....over and over again.   Join me over on Instagram for daily inspiration and motivation! www.instagram.com/passionate.on.purpose

    Reset everyday, what is your body saying, giving yourself permission to heal, forgiving yourself, doing the work!

    Send us a text You guys, we can pile up all of our problems until the pile is just so impossible that we crash.  What if you worked on resetting everyday?  Would the problems go away? No.  But do some stay back there?  Yes!  So if we reset every day and start new, there definitely will be some problems that don't make the cut.  They don't make the list.  They don't deserve any more attention.  They stay behind us.  Stop giving some things more space then they deserve.  Rent ain't cheap!!! It cost's happiness and so many other things.   What if we make everything we think of have monetary value...Can you afford it?   Or what if you have something terrible happen and not a lot of time left, is that what you would choose to bring forward?  Is it worth the value? Does it deserve to take up space? Some things do.  They are big enough to make it through, even when you reset every day.  Often,  still needing more healing.  But eventually as you do the work, they too can stay behind when you reset daily.   I had the most amazing session, body work we could call it.  I realized even more how much my body is talking to me.  A protective layer I have created.  Maybe not feeling fully safe.  A defence mechanism.  Our mind can be so strong, yet our body could be telling a story.   My biggest goal right now: Mastering what I can leave behind when I reset every day.  Mastering where I need to dig deeper.  Just because my mind is so healed ( after so much work ) doesn't mean my body has released.  You are your longest commitment, you deserve to heal!     Overcoming fear, trauma and new beginnings, trusting the universe, time heals, putting in the work, creating your dream life!

    Send us a text What if trauma catapults you to the next timeline? What if there truly is a reason for everything? What if you can find blessings in your hard? Sometimes we can get stuck in a certain life or timeline and can't push through our hard (even while using all the tools and therapy) but sometimes an even bigger storm comes and pushes us to a new level. Cancer is awakening me to a new level. My daughter seizure is pushing her past her fears.  The very things that have brought trauma to our lives are both hard and a blessing.   What if all along me saying the Universe is always working for us, is actually true.  Your higher power may allow you to ride storms, but you are also brought through them and maybe there is even more light on the other side.   What if your hard is your blessing? What if this is the turning point in your life? What if YOU are missing the key to the other side?     Just when you think you have it all together, Mindset, Eb and Flow, Tears, Happiness, Sadness, Strength, Weakness...A beautiful human experience full of it all.

    Send us a text Just when you think you handled it all so well and have it figured out....then tears come out of nowhere, quickly reminding you that you're human.   How many times are we going to live an experience, just slightly different each time, until we heal fully?  Will we ever be fully healed?  Is that just part of this human experience? In this episode I revisit the recent months, the things I thought I already healed, the habits that should be engrained in my brain, the stories I so badly want to change and once again the pep talk I need to give myself.  September is my January.  What a beautiful time to refresh and remember who the frick I am and where I'm going.   This time, doing it from the Shalea I am today and not the Shalea I used to be.     I'm not done yet, new perspectives, living two stories at once, old beliefs, changing timelines!

    Send us a text Thank you again for being here.  The outpour of love through this cancer journey,  has been a little light in the dimmer times.  Surgery was successful.  We are living cancer free with a side of wait and see, a side of err on caution, a side of optimism, and a side of confusion with positivity. It's a trip.  That's the best way I can say it.   This episode, we cover so many things.  I am not done yet.  I am living two story lines at once.   I am positive, with a side of f*cK this.   I am confused, but have a new perspective.   I am angry, but have such warmth in my heart.   I am more understanding, but yet less toleration for BS.   It s a ride, guys.  I am living it!  Join me in this episode, for a range of all the feels.  Don't worry, I bring a twist of motivation, inspiration and words that will make you think.   We're not done yet, we're just getting started.  We have some mountains to move, some changes to make.  We aren't here to live someone else's story.  We aren't here to live someone else's beliefs.   We are here to BLOOM.
