    This month, the discussion starts with a personal perspective of origins and development of Michael’s stewardship as an apostolic leader. This theme runs through the conversation as leadership development workshops, celebrations, and progress are highlighted.     Journey Report | “Farm Boy” Rooting Global Leaders

    After traveling through Asia, Michael provides updates on the progress of leaders in India and another large Asian country who are maturing in the TWCA paradigm. In India, he visited 13 networks across four cities and met a long-time leader who has been using our resources for 15 years to equip his city and village. Michael also reflects on the success of the new Working Workshops, which virtually reached nearly 1,000 leaders in India, demonstrating the scalability of the model. He ties this back to his family farm at home, drawing a parallel between the thriving crops and the growth of the next generation of leaders both locally and abroad, and concludes with personal reflections on the work of the Holy Spirit and his own spiritual growth.     Journey Report | Strategies in Establishing the Global Network for Expansion

    Springtime, the season of rebirth, always centers around Michael’s family farm enterprise and getting crops in the ground. Jay and Michael talk about the planting season and other issues that came up this season. Michael’s family endured surgeries to repair their bodies. The theme carried on with the expansion of Ames-Des Moines City Church and what needs to be done to be ready for the church-planting season. The City Church has started new churches to prepare future leaders and leading couples. The network leaders are also beginning a long process of equipping related to shepherding and counseling in the churches. Resource production, training for leaders, and future travels continue, and Michael and Jay talk about where we currently are, along with what is coming in the future. The conversation wrapped up with a discussion of ancestors. Michael is reading a history of Peter Vos and his legacy generation.
