However, a majority of individuals find themselves lost, stuck, or afraid to pave their own path. The goal of this podcast is to interview a wide variety of young individuals who have found success in their passions. Success is not defined by the amount of money one accumulates. So let's leave it up to our guests to define it themselves and tell us their stories.

    Matt "Honeybee" Little - Pianist Composer

    Matt discusses growing up in Philadelphia in the 80's and how his love for playing piano started at 6 years old.  He mentions how he got the nickname "Honeybee" from an unfortunate camping accident.  We also talk about how his initial inspiration to pursue music stemmed from a conversation with a band, which ultimately lead him to applying to Berklee College of Music.  Throughout the podcast, Matt shares his experience within the music world and with well known artists/performers like John Mayer, Dave Chappellle, Anderson .Paak, and J. Cole.  We learn the various paths one can take in music and how these different roles helped Matt understand the industry better.  The conversation ends talking about Matt's new debut single titled "Hawks in Flight" and what it means to him.     Mary Kate Hurlbutt (MK) grew up in central California and has lived all over the state.  Being involved in drama performances from a young age helped MK develop her creative spirit.  Throughout our conversation, MK talks about her love for entertaining others.  She also mentions a talent show which lead to teaching Tara VanDerveer (Women's Basketball Coach at Stanford University) the dance moves to "Beat It'.  After attending Stanford University and getting ready to apply for business school, MK had an experience that would take her from the finance world back to her creative spirit.  Now, she is the Cofounder of Chorus Meditation which provides a whole new way to meditate from the comfort of your own home.     Elyse talks about growing up in a small town just outside of Madison, Wisconsin.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in communication arts, gender studies, and LGBT studies.  Elyse is the founder of an organization called Out There Adventures (OTA).  The goal of OTA is to empower queer young people through their connection with the natural world.  Elyse discusses the many obstacles she faced when creating OTA and the magical moments that have kept her moving forward.
