    Pillar 4: Embodied Feminine Wisdom

In this deeply reflective episode, Eva explores the fourth pillar of Peace Activation: embodied feminine wisdom. Drawing from her lived experience, from UN conflict zones to giving birth in the Costa Rican jungle, Eva challenges dominant narratives around productivity, gender, and power, inviting listeners into a radically different way of being rooted in silence, nature, and inner knowing. This conversation moves from personal awakening to collective healing, bridging motherhood, societal conditioning, and global conflict. Eva shares how reconnecting to the body, surrendering control, and trusting intuition can transform how we live, serve, and relate to the world. Listeners are guided to reclaim their sovereignty. Through presence, courage, and deep listening, this is a practice to self attunement. If you feel called to deepen this work, Eva invites you to join the 7-week Peace Activation training, where participants will learn the foundational tools of this methodology: including trauma awareness, nervous system regulation, relational listening, and embodied peace practices. This training is designed for anyone seeking practical tools to navigate conflict, cultivate resilience, and contribute to a more peaceful world. Registration is now open for the Peace Activation 7-week Foundation Online Training Next Cohort: April 9th - May 21st, 2026 Resources Learn more about Peace Activation Eva Dalak Eva's book, Dancing in the Dark Events 7-Day Peace Activation Immersion Retreat in Greece at Zen Rocks, May 22-28 2026 Subscribe to the Peace Activation Newsletter to receive event updates

Storytelling Short: Decades Deep, Stories from Eva's Field of Peacework

Host Eva Dak welcomes returning guest Nada Elrhalami to discuss how Eva’s 25+ years working with the UN, EU, and NGOs across 22+ conflict zones shaped Peace Activation. Eva shares an example from Iraq in 2015, facilitating 60 women from different tribes and religions to move from hatred and tension toward heart-centered connection and community action to reduce violence against women, noting similar work in India and parts of Africa. She critiques peacebuilding as a paid “business” that often misses attitude shift, and argues conflict is both danger and opportunity, including how institutions and governments can fuel fear and how aid can function as neo-colonialism. Eva describes her 2010 UN burnout, studying spiritual psychology, and integrating a trauma-responsive approach, nervous system regulation, somatics, yoga, and embodied practice into Peace Activation offerings. If you feel called to deepen this work, Eva and Nada invite you to join their 7-week Peace Activation training, where participants will learn the foundational tools of this methodology—including trauma awareness, nervous system regulation, relational listening, and embodied peace practices. Beyond Polarization: From Reaction to Response, with Nada Elrhalami

In this episode of the Peace Activation Podcast, Eva Dalak is joined by collaborator Nada Elrhalami, founder of Peacelab, for a deep and timely conversation about the relevance of the Peace Activation methodology in a world marked by war, polarization, and collective trauma. Speaking from her perspective as a first-generation Afghan-Moroccan American and peacebuilding scholar, Nada brings forward the questions many people are asking today:Is peace even possible in the current geopolitical climate? How do we stay informed and engaged without becoming overwhelmed, reactive, or consumed by conflict? Eva shares how Peace Activation is not about avoiding conflict, but about developing the capacity to remain centered and regulated within it. At a time when global events constantly trigger anger, fear, and polarization, this methodology offers tools to help regulate nervous systems, reconnect with inner sovereignty, and respond rather than react. Together, Eva and Nada explore how unresolved trauma fuels collective violence, why peace must begin within the individual, and how each of us can contribute to a larger field of peace—even when we are not in the direct zone of conflict. They also speak candidly about the emotional toll of witnessing war from afar, the danger of polarization, and the importance of cultivating empathy, presence, and relational listening in difficult conversations. Ultimately, this episode is an invitation to reclaim personal agency and discover how inner transformation can lead to meaningful collective action. If you feel called to deepen this work, Eva and Nada invite you to join their 7-week Peace Activation training, where participants will learn the foundational tools of this methodology—including trauma awareness, nervous system regulation, relational listening, and embodied peace practices. This training is designed for anyone seeking practical tools to navigate conflict, cultivate resilience, and contribute to a more peaceful world. I Am Here to Speak: Motherwounds, Guilty Saviors & Evolving Consciousness

“I saw seven generations of women in my mother’s lineage… each one carrying what she promised to do. And when I asked what I had committed to, the answer was: You committed to speak.” Today Eva Dalak and J’aime explore the intersection of trauma, identity, service, and consciousness. Eva reflects on her lived experience growing up as a Palestinian citizen of Israel, the inherited trauma carried through generations of women in her family, and how that lineage ultimately shaped her calling to speak truth and cultivate peace. Through storytelling, spiritual reflection, and somatic awareness, the conversation invites listeners into a powerful understanding of intergenerational healing, collective trauma, and the evolution of consciousness required to transform inner conflict into service. Eva shares the story of her grandmother and mother—both born during times of intense violence and displacement—and describes how the experiences carried in their bodies and choices echo through generations. She reveals a profound moment of meditation in which she saw seven generations of women in her maternal lineage, each carrying a commitment that ultimately led to her own purpose: to speak truth and serve through awakening consciousness. The episode also explores the shift from trauma awareness to trauma responsibility, and how personal healing is essential for anyone seeking to lead or facilitate change. Listeners are invited to reflect on three powerful questions that guide Eva’s life and work: Who am I beyond the identities I carry? Why am I here? How can I serve? The conversation concludes with a simple but powerful nervous system practice—the Butterfly Hug—a reminder that healing begins with self-regulation, compassion, and reconnecting with the body.

Fire Without Burnout: Peace Activation in the Year of the Fire Horse

Featuring Eva Dalak, hosted and produced by J'aime Rothbard. “If I am an empty cup, the last thing I want to do is serve.” - Eva Dalak We’ve just stepped into the Year of the Fire Horse — a year known in Chinese astrology for bold movement, passion, and powerful forward momentum. Fire Horse energy can mobilize us. It can awaken courage. It can stir urgency. But it can also burn us out if we’re not resourced. In this episode, Eva gives us a privileged glimpse into her three-week journey facilitating peacebuilding workshops across Israel and Palestine — and why tending to our inner state isn’t a luxury, but the foundation for long-term peace. Moving between vastly different realities — from militarized checkpoints and hosting spaces to witness intergenerational grief, returning to lush, restorative landscapes of Costa Rica where she lives part-time — Eva shares what it means to embody peace in places where peace feels almost impossible. Rather than pushing harder, she speaks about becoming steadier. More regulated. More present. The conversation offers a sacred peek into the workshops Eva was engaged in on a daily basis:  from nervous system resilience workshops with Palestinian women leaders, facilitated heart-centered dialogue between bereaved Israeli and Palestinian families through the parents circles and family forums. Eva also shares about her collaborations with Roni Oren, Dalit Eliahu and Yonathan Shimriz to carry out a key intention of Peace Activation to work with Israeli civic leaders during these intensely polarized times. Eva elucidates the difference between peace activism and Peace Activation — cultivating inner safety, regulation, and embodied presence so that our actions arise from clarity rather than reaction, denial of others' experiences, and force. In a year fueled by fire and heat, this is a conversation about tending your flame — staying resourced, connected to nature and self, and becoming the space for peace instead of burning out by fighting for it.
