The educational paradigm is shifting, and hopefully it is prepared to keep up. With the schools in the United States still governed by standardized test scores and one-tracked thinking towards definitive outcomes hopefully we are prepared to take the leap of faith towards how students engage with information in the classroom. Can we ride the paradigm shift to support the brain development of our students to have the capacity to infer ripple effects of human behavior, and to experience foresight in how current societal decisions will play out into the future? Sometimes the only way out is through, and if we can shift our perception to see that as a benefit we can transmute that into a more joyful experience. The only person we can control is ourselves, and that is where our true power lies. Our life is all in how we see it, and how we navigate what it is we see in order to shift it to our benefit.
