    Coffee shops, yoga studios, and boutique donut spots are all usually signs of a shifting neighborhood. But that's not the case for Marcus, the fictional character on the FX on Hulu series The Bear, and Zedtiwu co owner of the Black-owned vegan donut shop Cloudy Donuts in Brooklyn, New York (with two additional locations in Baltimore, Maryland). Zewditu is living in the real life world we imagine Marcus's character could arrive in.  We talk about reimagining narratives, digging deeper into craft,  process, and passions.     Olympic Freshman with Grant Fisher and Chris Nilsen

    The Olympic Games don’t technically have Freshman but if they did, they'd look a lot like Grant Fisher and Chris Nilsen in Tokyo. These two young athletes took the opportunity of a “gap year” in the form of additional time afforded by the circumstances of the pandemic it turned it into Olympic glory. Now, both are the best Americans ever in their respective disciplines (5000m/10000m and pole vault). We also talk to true freshman Ania Keenan who is moving from California to NYC to pursue collegiate athletics and journalism at NYU.
