    Woman to Woman: Dr. Shannon Fuller and Samantha Goosen

    Samantha Goosen a project architect in our Dallas studio, sat down with Dr. Shannon Fuller, superintendent of Pilot Point ISD, for a conversation about leadership and the journey that shaped her. Dr. Fuller started her career in the classroom, and that passion for teaching continues to drive her work today. Over the years, her role grew, expanding her reach from individual students to entire communities. Her message to young women: believe in what makes you unique and build from there.  Dr. Fuller encourages others to understand their strengths, pursue what matters to them, and trust the value they bring. She also spoke honestly about the harder parts of the path. Challenges are inevitable, but they don't last. Staying grounded in gratitude, even for the small things can shape how you move forward. ______ Woman to Woman is a conversation series that highlights the experiences, perspectives, and leadership of women shaping their communities.     In this episode of Woman to Woman, Pfluger Interior Designer, Lauren Cloud, from our Austin studio sits down with Carol Watson, Fine Arts Director for Georgetown ISD. Carol reflects on 33 years in public education. She shares her path from teaching ceramics and sculpture to leading at the district level, including how she navigated uncertainty along the way. She also talks about the leaders who saw her potential before she did. Their conversation looks at the experiences that shaped Dr. Ball’s path and how they influence the way she leads today.  She shares what leadership has required of her, from navigating challenges as a female superintendent to supporting students, staff, and the community in difficult moments.
