Phase 1 provides an upbeat take on career and industry insights to emerging professionals in the life sciences industry through interview series with a focus on the knowledge of subject matter experts. The interviews focus on the career journeys of top industry influencers, current events, new technologies in the life sciences industry, and where the industry is heading.

    Ep. 8: Here's some career advice: WAIT...Why Am I Talking?

    Richalle Ritts is a Regional Design Director and Manager of the Process Engineering Group for IPS’ Midwest Region. Her fascination with microbes and her need to compete against her siblings landed her a Chemical Engineering major, rumored to be the hardest program on campus. Richalle’s ambition paired with her Subject Matter Expertise in Animal Health process makes her a wonderful addition to our technical team. We are lucky she switched her first college major from concert violin to engineering, and that she survived countless crazy stories on project sites.

    Ep. 7: A Need for Speed and a Passion for Life Sciences

    IPS Director of Process Architecture, Jason Collins, began his journey by building forts with whatever supplies fit on his bike. Now, he plays an active role in large projects that help our clients change the world. In this episode, Jason gives us a glimpse into how he came to work in the industry, his international experience, and tips and tricks on how he works with challenging clients. He credits much of his success to mentors, the Penn State architecture program, ISPE, and opportunities across the globe.     Life as we know it has changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. While a race to develop a vaccine is in full swing at some pharmaceutical companies, Komal Hatti, Sr. Process Architect, & Tom Rajala, Lead Process Engineer, work on a project for SAb Biotherapeutics that is developing a therapeutic to combat the virus.
