    Have you ever heard a familiar voice calling to you from another room, only to realize it couldn’t have been who you thought it was? A disembodied voice somewhere in another room yelling “Hey! Come here!”, but you know the person whose voice it seems to be isn’t home? Today we’re talking about #mimics, the eerie creepy paranormal entity that copies everything about a person except its essence, so you know something is ever so slightly off. This #entity feeds on #fear and spooks people not with an unfamiliar, new sound or figure, but with one you’re so familiar with, you wouldn’t even really think twice about replying. It preys on autopilot reactions. Perhaps even to gain permission to enter. Which, for the record you should NOT reply.     Jackalopes: The Fascinating Paradox of this Strange Phenomenon | Phenomena E8S6

    You’re out on the Great American Plains, the fire is dying down and sunlight is creeping up above the horizon. The song you sang last night by the campfire is being reverberated back to you by some #unknown entity, both near and far at the same time, behind you and in front. You feel something poke your foot and it’s a #jackalope. The totally real very much 100% not fictional animals who roam the wild Midwest plains! Legend has it, if you want to attract one you leave some #whiskey in a bowl. Come day break that whiskey will be drunk and that jackalope will be dizzily hopping away.     Voynich Manuscript: The Undecipherable Significance of this Strange Phenomenon | Phenomena E7S6

    A manuscript with chapters about things such as Herbal, Astrological, Zodiac, Biological, Pharmaceutical, and Recipes, though no one can decipher the language it's in or what it actually means. The #voynichmanuscript is something that has continued to #confound those who try to #decode it. In fact, it has yet to be decoded and I wonder if it'll get easier or harder as time passes and we get further and further away from the reality that brought us this book.     Devil's Kettle The Bottomless Whirlpool of this Natural Phenomenon | Phenomena E6S6

    The only thing I thought was bottomless were mimosas at brunch but it turns out many people thought the Devil's Kettle was also #bottomless! With a cavernous hole going down further than 3 stories, who knew the #devilskettle had so many mysteries to hide? Tune in to figure out if we've gotten to the BOTTOM of this (pun intended lol).
