It’s easy to forget the atrocities and terrors of wartime and history, especially as we ourselves don’t experience those atrocities and terrors. It’s all the more critical, that we-as proactive and honorable men and women-rise to our responsibility to remember what others went through. We may hope never be the ones to repeat history. This episode is about Elie Wiesel’s experience through the holocaust, and covers the heavy, yet solemn reality of what happens when we begin pitting ourselves against others for their differences. Let us never forget, let us always remember; and in doing so, swear to the millions of the afflicted that we will not allow our ignorance or forgetfulness to grant us permission for history to repeat itself.
