Yay a newish rpg podcast!
Very excited that there’s a solid, funny, enthusiastic podcast catering across console and computer rpgs. Keep it up!
Final Fantasy VII Remake
The Final Fantasy VII Remake content of this podcast is difficult to listen to when you seem to know so little about the FF7R/FF7 plot line. The Avalanche bombing mission was intended to disable the pump not destroy the reactor and hurt the people of Midgar. This is vocalized in the character conversations. Even the characters themselves were shocked by the explosion caused by Shinra at the end of the bombing mission. Also need to play the combat more than once to get a full grasp on how to do it effectively. Nice work thought overall just maybe need to do more research before podcasting.
Fantastic RPG news and discussion podcast
Hat, Eric, (and now) Stan do an excellent job each week providing an informative and entertaining discussion on video games (mostly RPG’s).
There’s a nice blend of casual conversation, informative talk of recent video game related news, and reviews/analysis or just discussion on particular games each guy has played or is currently playing.
I enjoy the passion these guys have about the games they play and their perspectives on things.
They also do a good job of considering and responding to listener feedback or comments and generally take time to respond to these on a weekly episode.
Far too often I seem to find a podcast covering a topic I’m interested in only to find out that the hosts spend half the episode or more talking about completely non-relevant topics - it always feels like a waste of my time, but here on Phoenix Edge this couldn’t be further from the truth - Hat and the guys don’t wander off in the weeds and almost always stay on track with the topic at hand.
This has quickly become a weekly podcast I can rely on and I can’t thank the guys enough for doing such a fantastic job! Thanks Hat, Eric, and Stan! Keep up the great work.
